India-past , present and future

Few days back, after dinner I was surfing through the channels on my TV, when daughter has just went to bed..( this is the only time when we can have hold of TV remote control :-) ) ..., when I came across a program on India.
Later I came to know that this was a premiere show for a series of program on India to be shown in 6 different episode. Unfortunately, the show is not to be shown on the channels which I am subscribed for.

Anyway the program is about India's past , present in future. According to the presenter ( Michel Wood, a BBC correspondent), it is the only one kind of program on India to be broadcast in West. I watched the full 1 hour show without moving from my couch. It was interesting...and closure the the true picture of India.

I have read a lot about India in many books, on many online pages..but none of them had appealed me so much.
This is certainly a worthwhile program and must be watched. This is being broadcast in USA as well. One can find the schedule here .

As I don't have the access to the channel, I have grouped with my two other collegues to buy the DVD which is on sell ( yes they have put the DVD on sell) ....

I hope I will enjoy the show once the DVD arrives, to be shipped by the end of this month.
